Work experience

The University

I started gaining lab experience by enrolling as a student intern in the US Department of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence from 2019 to 2022. I took advantage of this time to do both my TFG and my TFM in this department.

During these years, I learned several molecular biology techniques and bioinformatics tools for data analysis. This knowledge led to the publication of articles, software development and web applications. In addition, I had the opportunity to show my work at national conferences.

PhD project

After years as a collaborator in the research group, I decided to do my PhD. With a solid background in microalgae cultivation and data analysis, I set out to study the effect of abiotic stress on microalgae.

To do this, I apply machine learning techniques that allow me to generate predictive models and develop software to facilitate this task.
